About 74 Grand St.
Going to breakfast with a friend usually does not end with writing a business plan and a two week notice. But that is how 74 Grand Street started.
Leonard was visiting his childhood friend, Lawrence, for breakfast. Catching up on old times, they talked about the future, and what it held for them. Both of them wanted to start a business.
Their waitress, Marion, overhears the conversation and tells them she has always wanted to be a part of a grassroots start up. Leonard pulled out his phone and emailed his manager his two week’s notice. Lawrence did the same. Marion cashed out, and the three of them went to write a business plan.
